Action West Video, located in Salt Lake City, was born on the ski slopes of Park City, Utah. Former full-time ski patrolman and ski area operator, Robert (Pokey) Richardson, decided to combine his two greatest loves, skiing and video. He opened up shop at the Park City Ski Area, shooting action ski videos... Since that time (early '80s), his company, Action West Video, has migrated from the slopes of Park City to the commercial and corporate world of Salt Lake City to become a full service production house. Action West offers a variety of services: single to multi camera shoots, switched live or edited in their digitally equipped editing suite.
